I bet you are wondering... who is Tara Levine?

For many years I wondered this question myself, ‘Who is Tara Levine?’

Confused by the societal expectations and pressures of who/what I should be on paper to gain acceptance, I begin to stack up achievements in search of my identity. I thought my identity was tied to my appearance, so I became a professional model, boasting in travel, glamor, and luxury, strutting on a runway, and posing in front of a camera gave me a thrill, yet I felt so empty inside. This could certainly not be me. Then, I considered my identity and its affiliation to my career, so I became a successful lawyer, able to put together one hell of an argument, and could communicate with such passion, you felt tingles down your spine, but even then, that felt cold and conflicted with my internal values as a human. Finally, I had it figured out, it was all about wealth and accomplishments, so I created multiple successful income streams and landed a high-paying job, making well over six figures a year, building multiple homes, taking lavish vacations, and yet I still felt abandoned.

I knew I was searching for something, and unable to find it.

"Vulnerability became my best friend, and courage was just a word "

It wasn’t until I began working on myself internally that I discovered this is what I had been in search of all along, the internal self. Who I am at my core. Not a reflection of what I’ve always been told I “needed to be” in order to be worthy of existence and acceptance, but the spirit that lived within my soul. I got deep into understanding my own emotions, thought patterns, triggers, and mindset. I read books, listened to podcasts, practiced meditation, journaled, adopted a clean diet, exercised became a daily requirement, and got comfortable with my traumas, fears, and insecurities. I leaned into my development and welcomed discomfort as a playground for growth. Vulnerability became my best friend, and courage was just a word. I stopped fearing death and started living life based on my own terms. I turned off blame and accepted circumstances as an opportunity to feel extended grace. I put the power back into my hands and transmuted every pain into a source of fuel for my future.
